The European Society of Radiology (ESR) and GE HealthCare have further strengthened their partnership ahead of ECR 2026, taking place from 4 to 8 March in Vienna.
GE HealthCare is a platinum supporter of the event, with the partnership highlighting the shared commitment of both entities to advancing healthcare, supporting the radiology community, and accelerating innovation, the ESR said in a statement.
The company will showcase seven significant new products at the congress that combine imaging technology with advanced digital, computational, and AI capabilities, designed to reduce cognitive load, automate routine tasks, and streamline workflows. GE HealthCare has invested more than $5.1 billion in research and development since 2023, the ESR noted.
“This partnership plays an important role in ensuring that advances showcased at ECR are relevant, practical and aligned with the evolving needs of the radiology community,” said ECR 2026 President Prof. Minerva Becker.
