Radiation therapy firm Varian Medical Systems will introduce a new x-ray tube at this week's European Congress of Radiology (ECR) in Vienna.
G-296 is a rotating-anode x-ray tube designed for use with flat-panel digital detectors, according to the Palo Alto, CA-based vendor. The tube is suitable for general radiology, cineradiographic, and fluoroscopic procedures, Varian said.
