VIENNA – It's been eight years since Thomas Beyer, PhD, said style should match ambition. A few years ago, he argued that jeans should be worn in congress. In this year's edition, the medical physicist reflects on how fashion at scientific meetings is becoming more casual, why glasses remain one of the most effective accessories, and how personal style can express authenticity without being overwhelming.
He also talks about how radiologists and nuclear medicine doctors dress differently, whether the host city affects the style of the congress, and why young radiologists should think about comfort and individuality when attending ECR for the first time.
