Image Information Systems has released iQ-Web 8.0, the latest version of its web-based PACS software, introducing new workflow, security, and usability features.
The update includes a redesigned split and merge feature for separating accidentally mixed studies, series, or images, and shorter Web Access to DICOM Objects (WADO) links for easier integration into reports and more compact QR codes compatible with iOS and Android devices.
A new WADO links manager gives administrators an overview of all created links, including creator, creation time, and expiration date, with options to extend validity or change viewer settings, the company said.
Additional updates include a new Modify window for reviewing and editing DICOM metadata with change tracking and confirmation dialogs, a redesigned login page with updated two-factor authentication (2FA), and security updates supporting the latest versions of Apache, MySQL, and Hypertext PreProcessor (PHP).
