Radiopharmaceutical developer AdvanCell released updated results from its phase I TheraPb trial of ADVC001, an investigational lead-212 (Pb-212)-based prostate-specific membrane antigen targeted alpha therapy.

The trial enrolled patients with metastatic androgen pathway modulation-resistant prostate cancer, condition formerly referred to as metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer, the company noted. The data was presented at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Congress 2026 in Madrid and involved 22 patients across seven dose-schedule cohorts, with a median follow-up of 14.1 months.

At the recommended doses of 160 MBq and 200 MBq administered every one to six weeks for up to six cycles, 80% of patients had a prostate-specific antigen (PSA) decline of at least 50%, according to the company. All five patients with measurable target lesions had confirmed responses by blinded independent central review. Median radiographic progression-free survival was 11.2 months at those doses, and no new safety signals emerged, AdvanCell said.
