Israeli imaging technology company Nanox has signed an agreement with Technologic to distribute its HealthOST AI bone health software in Italy.
HealthOST analyses eligible routine CT scans and provides qualitative and quantitative analysis of the spine to support the assessment of musculoskeletal disease such as osteoporosis. By using imaging studies already performed for other clinical purposes, the software aims to help clinicians identify patients who may benefit from further evaluation, according to the company.
Technologic is affiliated with Italian medical technology firm Tecnologie Avanzate. Nanox said the agreement is intended to expand the commercial presence of its AI subsidiary, Nanox AI, in Italy.
