Philips Healthcare has named Swedish manufacturer Note as its new strategic partner for the MicroDose full-field digital mammography unit.
As part of a reorganization of its operations in Solna, Sweden, Philips' Mammography Solutions unit has decided to outsource a large part of its in-house electronic assembly to Note's plant in Norrtälje, Sweden. Note will provide a number of its services, including complex assembly in a clean-room environment.
The partnership will focus on the MicroDose detector unit, Note said.
