GEHC’s MINItrace Magni cyclotron gets CE Mark

GE HealthCare (GEHC) has received the CE Mark for its MINItrace Magni cyclotron and has added copper-64 (Cu-64) production to its PETtrace Solid Target Platform.

MINItrace Magni is a compact, self-shielded cyclotron designed for in-house production of fluorine-18 (F-18), carbon-11, oxygen-15, and nitrogen-13 for PET tracers. The system features a three-click workflow and automated functions including auto-tuning, which prepares the cyclotron and targets, tunes the beam, and manages target irradiation.

The Cu-64 capability expands the PETtrace Solid Target Platform beyond gallium-68 (Ga-68), introduced in 2022, and zirconium-89, added in early 2026. Cu-64 is being studied with investigational copper-67 agents as a theranostic pair, including in prostate cancer and HER2-positive breast cancer, GEHC said.
