Prostatic artery embolization gains clinical momentum
Prostate artery embolization has emerged as a highly promising interventional radiology procedure for lower urinary tract symptoms secondary to benign prostatic hypertrophy, Dr. Jamal Al Deen Alkoteesh told Arab Health delegates on the final day of the Total Radiology conference in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Under scrutiny: Pregnancy after uterine fibroid embolization
The traditional treatment of uterine fibroids in patients who wish to become pregnant is surgical removal by myomectomy. However, uterine fibroid embolization has a lower complication rate and has a comparable fertility rate to myomectomy after treatment, according to researchers from the United Arab Emirates.
