GE HealthCare (GEHC) has unveiled a floor-mounted digital x-ray system for high-throughput settings.
Built on the Definium platform, the Definium Pace Select ET makes use of AI and includes an elevating table, in-room exam control, and a common user interface to aid technologists, according to the vendor.
Definium Pace Select ET incorporates automation to reduce workflow steps and physically demanding movements for technologists, GEHC said. What's more, its AI-enabled Helix image processing software reduces image variability and delivers consistent high-quality images, according to the company.

The features of the Intelligent Workflow Suite include automated positioning, protocol selection, patient size, and collimation. In addition, the system performs a quality check prior to radiation exposure, the vendor said.
