Carpl.ai has partnered with Medica Group to use its radiology AI marketplace and enterprise platform in teleradiology services throughout the U.K. and Ireland.
The partnership marks a "significant shift" in how AI is validated and embedded into live clinical workflows at a national level, Carpl.ai said in its announcement. Its platform will provide NHS Trusts with access to more than 200 licensed and validated AI tools, and, with Medica, supports ongoing data monitoring for postmarket surveillance of each clinical tool, the firm noted.
Medica Group's network delivers more than 2.5 million radiology reports annually across NHS Trusts, according to the firm, adding that Radiobotics’ RBfracture is among the first AI applications to be deployed, tested, and fine-tuned to go live for high-volume study processing of up to 2,500 examinations per day.
By embedding RBfracture into the workflow, advanced fracture detection is now delivered at scale, supporting faster clinical decision-making and reducing pressure on NHS services, Carpl.ai said.
