Agfa Radiology Solutions is expanding its DR 600 x-ray room with a stretcher-based digital tomosynthesis capability that allows exams to be performed without repositioning patients.
The enhancement is powered by Agfa's Musica image processing and uses the company's Dura-line XF+ glass-free detectors, which offer 99-micron resolution. The system delivers multislice imaging with depth information at a radiation dose comparable to standard radiography, Agfa said. This capability is designed to improve detection of findings such as microfractures, pulmonary nodules, and kidney stones, and is intended for trauma, emergency, and mobility-limited cases.
Agfa will showcase the technology at ECR 2026, running from 3 to 8 March in Vienna, at booth X2 214.
