Carestream Healthcare International has launched an updated version of its DRX-LC long-length imaging detector.

The new version adds Detector Exposure Control, which automatically adjusts imaging parameters to reduce variability and optimize dose, and Smart Noise Cancellation, an AI feature that reduces image noise while preserving detail, according to the company.
The detector is compatible with DR rooms, mobile systems, and retrofit installations, allowing use across radiology departments and operating rooms, Carestream said.
