Planmed has secured CE marking for its Planmed XFI imaging system under the European Union's Medical Device Regulation (MDR) program.
The scanner is the newest member of the company's Planmed conebeam CT (CBCT) family of systems, and has been designed to find subtle fractures and misalignments, the company said.
It plans to display Planmed XFI at the upcoming European College of Radiology meeting in Vienna, Austria.
