Two free podcasts from the French Society of Radiology (SFR) have featured experts on applied ethics in healthcare and thoracic imaging.
The first, published on 5 January, features Paul-Loup Weil-Dubuc, who holds a doctorate in political philosophy. He is head of the research department of the Ile-de-France ethics center and editor in chief of the French Journal of Applied Ethics. In the 45-minute episode, Weil-Dubuc discusses such questions as “How can we reconcile radiology, technology, and ethics in an increasingly unequal world?” The podcast can be found here.
A second recent episode features Prof. Marie-Pierre Revel, PhD, head of radiology at Hôpital Cochin in Paris and ESR second vice-president.
Revel has trained generations of radiologists and contributed to major advances in the management of pulmonary diseases, SFR noted. She has led two major campaigns: the first, with her teams, during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the second for national lung cancer screening. The episode was published on 16 December 2025 and can be found here.
