Findings that emerge from the German Cardiac CT Registry are well worth a close look because the 10 centers involved have recruited more than 4,000 patients. In a field where reliable data are often in short supply, such initiatives are good news for end users.

Manufacturers are moving from prototype digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT) systems to clinical products, and exposure control can now be optimized, allowing the acquisition of a DBT view at the same dose as a single mammography view, according to Italian researchers.
