Sectra receives U.K. cybersecurity certification

PACS vendor Sectra said it has received the Cyber Essentials certification for complying with security requirements for national procurements in the U.K.

Carried out by the National Cyber Security Centre, Cyber Essentials is part of the U.K. government's goal of reducing the level of cybersecurity risk, Sectra said. It identifies fundamental technical security controls that organizations should have in place when entering government contracts for certain technical products and services, or handling sensitive and personal data.

Sectra also noted it holds an International Organization for Standardization (ISO) certification for information security management systems.
