BIR appoints Phillips-Hughes as new president

The British Institute of Radiology (BIR) has announced in a recent letter that Dr. Jane Phillips-Hughes will take over for Andy Rogers as the institute's new president.

The letter also said that the latest issue of its British Journal of Radiology will feature the role of imaging in obesity. The special feature highlights key challenges in the field as well as recent research on imaging body and organ fat.
