Artificial intelligence (AI) image analysis software developer Lunit has received Europe's CE Mark for its Insight CXR AI chest x-ray analysis software.
Lunit Insight CXR (version 3) is designed to analyze chest x-rays to detect 10 major abnormalities -- such as nodules, calcification, pneumothorax, consolidations, and fibrosis -- that could be signs of lung disease. It also supports screening for tuberculosis. The software has an average detection accuracy of 98.7%, according to Lunit.
The software is currently installed in Mexico, the United Arab Emirates, China, Thailand, and Korea, according to Lunit.
