Canon installs PCCT system at Radboud

Canon Medical Systems has completed its second installation of the company's photon-counting CT (PCCT) scanner worldwide at Radboud University Medical Center in Nijmegen, the Netherlands.

The company also highlights that clinical research with the system began in late January. Canon entered into an agreement on joint clinical research with the center in November 2023, which is being led by Prof. Dr. Mathias Prokop, PhD, chair of the Department of Radiology at the center. The research will explore the clinical usefulness and potential of PCCT.
