The German Roentgen Society (DRG), the German Society for Medical Technologists for Radiology (DGMTR), and the German Society for Biomedical Laboratory Science (DVTA) have launched a new educational, information-based website about medical technologists for radiology (MTRs).
The website's tagline is "Make visible what counts." It offers an overview of the career, featuring reports, videos, and an MRT school finder, according to the three organizations.
"The website is the central point of contact for anyone who wants to find out more about MTR's training and job profile -- especially students, career changers, parents, teachers, and career counsellors," the DRG, DGMTR, and the DVTA noted in a joint statement. "It shows that the MTR profession is not only technically demanding but also socially indispensable."
