The ESR has revealed that it has reached a membership milestone, with a total of 149,167 professionals from 192 countries enrolled as members of the organization. It has also unveiled a new app.
The ESR attributes its sustained rise in membership to both the strength of the global radiology community and to its strategic focus on education, advocacy, and inclusive global engagement.
In the past year, the society has introduced new initiatives, including Green ID certification, aimed at acknowledging and promoting green practices in radiology departments worldwide, and ESR INSPIRE, a volunteering platform for radiologists.
Additionally, the ESR has added to its resources for members; the “ESR Modern Radiology eBook” is now available in more languages, while the ESR Now App has been unveiled this month (to download it, go to App Store or Google Play).
Benefits of membership include reduced registration fees for the ECR, access to a range of European School of Radiology (ESOR) educational programs, and subscription to European Radiology, the ESR added.
ESR membership for 2026 is now open.
