Swedish healthcare informatics firm Sectra and Norwegian electronic patient record (EPR) provider DIPS have signed a cooperation agreement.
Both companies' systems are currently installed in a large number of hospitals in Norway; via the cooperation, Sectra and DIPS said they would offer more efficient handling of patient information and radiology images for those customers. The long-term goal is to be able to provide fully integrated EPR and image functionality, according to Sectra of Linköping and DIPS of Bodø.
