NordInsight is providing access to its MRI safety platform to support a research initiative at Bayero University Kano in Kano City and the Federal University of Health Sciences, Azare.
Research teams at the universities are working to develop AI tools that can support MRI safety screening and protocol optimization. NordInsight has provided access to its MRI safety platform to support implant evaluation and workflow standardization, which can help reduce variability and improve consistency in MRI safety practices, according to the firm.
The project is supported by the MICCAI Society Health Equity Grant 2026 and aims to improve consistency and reliability of MRI safety practices in environments with limited infrastructure, NordInsight noted.
