Spectrum Dynamics Medical is launching a new all-energy enhancement for its Veriton CT-400 series digital SPECT/CT scanner. The expansion extends the firm's Veriton platform to support imaging of low-, medium-, and high-energy isotopes using a single collimator, according to the vendor.
The enhancement improves precision, sensitivity, and resolution while maintaining the system's scan times, Spectrum Dynamics said. It builds on the firm's existing Veriton-CT platform's digital cadmium zinc telluride (CZT) detector and 360-degree geometry, and is available on new CT-400 systems as well as an upgrade for existing installations.
Florida Theranostics in Jupiter, Florida, served as the first clinical site for the enhancement, conducting imaging across technetium-99m, iodine-123, iodine-131, and lutetium-177, the firm said. The enhancement extends the FDA-cleared, CE-marked, and Health Canada-approved Veriton-CT platform, with wider commercial availability planned for late fourth quarter of 2026.
