The ESR has given the Green ID Certificate to the diagnostic and interventional radiology unit of the IRCCS Galeazzi-Sant'Ambrogio Hospital in Milan.
The unit is chaired by Dr. Luca Maria Sconfienza, PhD, and it has become the first radiology department in Italy to receive this recognition.
The certificate recognizes the commitment by radiology departments in Europe to promote sustainable practices and reduce the environmental impact of hospital activities.
