The German Roentgen Society (DRG) has revealed more information about the 103rd German Radiology Congress (RöKo 2022) from 27 March to 26 June, which the society says will comprise an "extensive" training and scientific program.

The congress' motto is "Living diversity -- Shaping the future." The main topics will include diversity and sustainability in radiology as well as 50 years of CT and interventional radiology.

The program will be offered in a digital congress route as well as on three days of presence in the RheinMain CongressCenter in Wiesbaden from 25 to 27 May.

The congress will kick off with digital events that are freely accessible to anyone interested. The program begins on Saturday, 26 March, at 3:30 p.m. CET with a warm-up and technical sessions on the subjects of the abdomen and cardiac imaging.

The Eugenie and Felix Wachsmann Prize 2022 will also be awarded by the DRG for special merits in radiological training. Congress president Dr. Kerstin Westphalen will meanwhile give a studio talk with the DRG president Prof. Dr. Jörg Barkhausen and Prof. Dr. Michael Uder, chairman of the Academy for Advanced and Advanced Training in Radiology.

Sunday, 27 March, will begin with a session on female pelvic imaging. Sessions on oncological imaging and thoracic radiology will follow.

Full details about the congress can be found on the DRG website.
