Signify secures €7.2M from capital investor BGF

Signify Research, the U.K.-based firm of market analysts, has secured a £6 million (7.2 million) cash injection from capital investor BGF.

Signify will use the funding to accelerate its growth and expand its market presence. Its research teams offer expertise in medical imaging, clinical care, digital health, diagnostic and life sciences, healthcare IT, and AI in healthcare.

Alongside the investment, Signify has appointed Gareth Miller as its nonexecutive chair, a recommendation from BGF. Miller has served as CEO of BGF-backed Cornwall Insight, a provider of research, data, and analysis to the energy sector.

"This partnership is a testament to the strength of our business model and the potential for future growth," said Steve Holloway, CEO and co-founder of Signify Research. "We are confident that with BGF's support, and the highly relevant experience of Gareth Miller, we will continue to lead the way in delivering cutting-edge healthcare technology market intelligence solutions."

Holloway has been a regular columnist and contributor to AuntMinnieEurope.com since 2011.
