The election for the future president of the French Society of Radiology (SFR) will move forward with only one candidate.
Alain Luciani, PhD, professor of radiology at Paris-East Créteil University (UPEC), is the sole applicant for the position. The SFR president is elected for a four-year term, following a call for applications that is made one year before the expiration of the term of the current president.
Voting in this year's election opened on 16 January and will continue until 8 p.m. on Monday, 26 January. The election results will be announced at the Ordinary General Meeting of the SFR's National Executive Committee to be held on Thursday, 29 January, at 10 a.m.
