The Spanish Society of Medical Radiology (SERAM) is celebrating the appointment of Prof. Fátima Matute as an honorary member of the RSNA.

This international distinction recognizes professional careers of exceptional impact in the field of radiology. Matute is the current Minister of Health of the Community of Madrid. She has served as secretary general of SERAM for eight years and is also currently vice-chair of the RSNA European Committee.
Also receiving RSNA honorary membership are former ESR president Prof. Carlo Catalano and Dr. Claudio Silva from Chile. The official presentation ceremony will take place in November at RSNA 2025 in Chicago.
