Sectra has signed a contract to extend its Sectra One enterprise imaging platform from hospitals in the Capital Region of Denmark to the whole of Region Østdanmark, a newly merged region formed by the combination of the Capital Region and Region Zealand.
The platform will be used across all of the region's hospitals for radiology, breast imaging, nuclear medicine, and clinical physiology. The approximately 1,000 clinicians currently using the system are expected to grow to around 1,300 as the Region Zealand hospitals join, Sectra said. Region Østdanmark performs more than 5,000 examinations daily.
The original agreement with the Capital Region, signed in 2022, has been extended to cover the Region Zealand hospitals and runs until 2037. The extension was signed in the second quarter of Sectra's 2026/2027 fiscal year.
