Matrox display boards used in Israeli hospitals

Display controller board provider Matrox Graphics of Montreal announced that its TheatreVue display projection controller boards are being used in Carestream Health's PACS at two Israeli hospitals.

Digital Medical Systems of Israel selected the TheatreVue boards to replicate diagnostic displays on plasma televisions installed in operating room suites and conference/training rooms at Clalit Health Services and Chaim Sheba Medical Center.

Clalit, the largest HMO in Israel, has its six installations with an equipment configuration using workstations with a RIS display and two 2-megapixel (MP) diagnostic monitors. Two TheatreVue boards each connect to 50-inch plasma screens serving as feature displays. The Chaim Sheba Medical Center, the largest hospital in Israel, has each of its six installations comparatively made up of two 3-MP diagnostic monitors, a RIS monitor, and a TheatreVue board connected to a single 48-inch plasma feature display.
