Swedish PACS developer Sectra has announced that it has signed a five-year agreement to provide comprehensive radiology IT systems for Gelre Ziekenhuizen, a two-site regional hospital enterprise in the Netherlands.
The hospitals, located in Apeldoorn and Zutphen, will have their PACS upgraded, and will also acquire Sectra's integrated RIS and speech recognition dictation report system. The hospitals perform approximately 225,000 diagnostic imaging exams annually.
Sectra expects the installations to be completed in early 2012.
