3D printing method uses angiograms to model brain vessels
Clinicians can use CT angiography or digital subtraction angiography scans to construct customized 3D-printed models of brain vessel abnormalities that replicate real-life cases, according to a study published in the British Journal of Neurosurgery.

French researchers found that a set of clinical criteria was just as accurate as a protocol that included CT pulmonary angiography for ruling out pulmonary embolism (PE) in the emergency department, according to an article published in the February 13 issue of the Journal of the American Medical Association.

Augmented reality headset bolsters reconstructive surgery
