Curium is investing €32 million in its production facility in Saclay, France, to create a new production line for lutetium-177 PSMA-I&T (¹⁷⁷Lu-PSMA-I&T), a targeted radioligand therapy for patients with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC).
The investment, announced at the Choose France summit in Versailles, will create 20 jobs and is intended to supply the European market with the radioligand therapy, said the company. The Saclay facility will draw on the scientific ecosystem established by the French Atomic Energy Commission (CEA).
The €32 million investment is part of a broader program totaling more than €50 million invested in France over the past five years. Curium operates 13 production sites in France employing more than 750 people and serving more than 200 nuclear medicine centers daily, the company said.
