C-arm developer Ziehm Imaging is showing the latest generation of its Ziehm Solo FD and Ziehm Vision RFD C-arms at RSNA 2016 in Chicago.
Both systems feature complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) flat-panel detectors for enhanced image resolution at the same dose and also the new Ziehm NaviPort 3D interface for image-guided navigation. The Ziehm Vision RFD mobile C-arm also will be on display.
The new Ziehm NaviPort interface for image-guided navigation connects the Ziehm Vision RFD 3D with systems of other navigation companies. The combination of intraoperative 3D imaging and navigation systems enables clinicians to manage less-invasive approaches for shorter hospital stays and improved patient outcomes, according to the company.
