The number of attendees at the recently concluded German Radiology Congress (RöKo 2016) in Leipzig dropped by nearly 10%.
The total number of participants was 6,752 this year, down 9.5% compared with 7,463 last year, when the congress was held in Hamburg. The comparable figures for 2014 and 2013 were 7,529 and 7,089 respectively.

While the total number of congress attendees dropped, the numbers of radiologists and radiographers who attended did not, and the program was a success, according to a DRG spokesperson.
