Swedish PACS vendor Sectra has won a PACS contract with a Dutch hospital.
Onze Lieve Vrouwe Gasthuis (OLVG) in Amsterdam will install Sectra's PACS, and the company will serve as the facility's IT partner.
This summer, OLVG plans to merge with Sint Lucas Andreas Ziekenhuis, also in Amsterdam and another Sectra customer. Together, the two facilities perform more than 300,000 radiology examinations per year, according to Sectra.
Sectra's system handles about 35% of all radiology examinations conducted in the Netherlands, the company said.
