Radiation oncology firm Nucletron plans to highlight new radiotherapy offerings at the upcoming European Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ESTRO) annual meeting in London, the company said.
Among the new offerings will be Nucletron's Vaginal CT/MR Multi Channel Applicator (VCMC) for treating gynecologic cancers. VCMC features multiple channels that are curved in the tip of the applicator to allow clinicians to bring dosimetry closer to the vaginal wall.
Also featured will be Nucletron's prostate solutions package, which allows users to perform both low-dose-rate or high-dose-rate procedures, and features the company's Oncentra software.
Finally, the vendor will highlight updates to Oncentra External Beam -- which automates planning tasks and increases patient throughput -- and its Velocity package for multiple modality radiotherapy, including dose summation and planning, according to Nucletron.
