The young academics displayed their projects in the packed Minoritensaal of the Remscheid-Lennep Monastery Church. The group presented on several themes, such as how x-rays are used in art, the role DNA plays in the human body, and the process of a heart transplant.
This program examined several topics, including the electromagnetic spectrum, echolocation in bats, how AI can help in medical research, and the history of radiation therapy.

Röntgen, as portrayed by actor Franz Mestre, presented awards to all participants of the third year. Music from the youth band "The Beams" from the Remscheid Music and Art School also highlighted the ceremony.
A reception at the German Röntgen Museum provided further opportunities for discussion. There, the young researchers presented their own hands-on demonstrations, including experiments on thermal radiation, photography with different types of radiation, and an interactive quiz on the topic of the human heart, for example.
