The French Society of Radiology (SFR) is launching a new digital educational platform for the public.
The site will consist of educational material from SFR experts that will provide users with "a better understanding of the different exams, their usefulness, how they are performed, and their health implications," the society said.
It will also feature an interactive chatbot named Irène -- in honor of Marie Curie's daughter -- that can answer patients' questions using SFR reference resources and help patients prepare a list of questions to ask their radiologist during a consultation, according to SFR.
