Technology developer Maquet has installed an Artis zeego angiography system from Siemens Healthcare in a new hybrid operating room at the Surgical Academy in Rastatt, Germany.
The angiography system is being used with Maquet's Magnus hybrid operating room table. The integrated robotic technology of the Artiz zeego enables its C-arm to be positioned in practically any position around the operating room table and the patient.
The height variability of the Maquet table combined with the maneuverability of Siemens' angiography system facilitates flexible patient positioning, and also enables a surgeon to perform a procedure in either a sitting or a standing position.
