LONDON - The International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM) was one of the first scientific societies to issue a statement on the Russian invasion of Ukraine. In a video interview, its president, Fernando Calamante, PhD, reflects on this statement and the current situation.

Originally from Argentina, Calamante is the director of Sydney Imaging, the biomedical imaging Core Research Facility at the University of Sydney, Australia. He is a professor in the School of Biomedical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering.
