Dutch women's imaging software developer ScreenPoint Medical will present its Transpara artificial intelligence (AI)-based software for mammograms and digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT) exams at ECR 2018 in Vienna.

The Transpara deep-learning software offers interactive decision support to radiologists as they assess mammography and DBT exams primarily by providing quantitative information concerning soft-tissue lesions and calcifications, according to the company.

The software has received the European CE Mark for use with various vendors, and its performance has been reviewed in multiple deep-learning studies.
