Agfa HealthCare will be unveiling its Musica for Neonatal image processing software for digital radiography (DR) exams at next month's ECR 2015 in Vienna.

Musica for Neonatal features what Agfa calls fractional multiscale processing (FMP), an automatic and exam-independent technique designed to make it easier to visualize and distinguish subtle details in DR images, according to the vendor. Designed to help reduce the number of images required for neonates, the tool provides a balanced presentation of soft bone, lung tissue, and abdominal tissue to make images more comfortable to read and present radiologists with more diagnostic information, Agfa said.
