SuperSonic sees revenue boost for 1st half of 2016

Ultrasound technology developer SuperSonic Imagine reported increase revenue for the first half of 2016.

For the period (end-30 June), the company increased total revenue to 9.42 million euros, an increase of 8% from 8.74 million euros in the first half of 2015. The company attributes this to focusing on the liver and breast pathology markets in the U.S., China, and France. These three markets accounted for 67% of total sales over the first six months of the year.

By the end of June, SuperSonic had an installed base of approximately 1,500 Aixplorer systems worldwide, with 24% of them in the Americas, 29% in Asia, and 47% in Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
