Survey explores use of mobile devices in radiology

A new survey for radiologists about the use of mobile devices in their clinical practice has just opened.

Led by Dr. Erik Ranschaert, a member of AuntMinnieEurope.com's editorial advisory board, the survey results will be presented at ECR 2014 in a special focus session on mobile imaging.

Ranschaert is a staff radiologist at the Jeroen Bosch Ziekenhuis teaching hospital in 's-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands. He was a co-founder of Eurad Consult, one of Europe's first teleradiology companies, and he also started EUFORA, one of the first discussion groups for radiologists. He is a past chairman of the ECR computer applications subcommittee.

The survey will be open until mid-January and can be accessed here.
