The Healthcare Information Management Systems Society Europe (HIMSS) CIO Summit under way in Geneva this week reached sell-out capacity, with 150 hospital IT directors and executives in attendance.
This represents a 100% increase in capacity from the prior summit for European chief information officers, according to the Brussels-based HIMSS Europe.
The meeting is being cohosted by the University Hospital of Geneva, and is focusing on the best use and adoption practices for healthcare IT in Europe. HIMSS Europe's next CIO Summit will be held in Copenhagen 7 to 9 May 2012 in conjunction with eHealth Week.
