Agfa HealthCare and image display firm Barco have introduced a new joint program to refresh the diagnostic displays currently being used with Agfa's Impax PACS offerings.
The program will include an enterprise-wide online quality assurance service and an opportunity for customers to upgrade their LCDs to Barco's Coronis color diagnostic display system and the firm's clinical review display.
Agfa said the program will allow customers to make optimal use of advanced PACS features and visualization applications, such as image registration and fusion, nuclear medicine, cardiology, and volume viewing. In addition, the quality assurance service will support the clinical performance of the PACS, according to Agfa.
