Image analysis with 3D modeling aids wound healing
Researchers have proposed a novel approach to chronic wound healing that involves image analysis combined with 3D modeling and bioprinting. They have used wound images from patients with diabetes, burns, and metabolic conditions that can cause tissue death.

More than 2,881 attacks on healthcare in Ukraine have been documented since February 2022. At ECR 2026, a radiologist from Kyiv walked a room of European colleagues through what that actually means for a department, and what to do before it happens to yours.
'We can see what the clinicians cannot see, and especially sarcopenia and osteoporosis are under-reported and under-diagnosed,' said Kerensa Beekman, MD, PhD, of Radboud University Medical Center.
